Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 20, 2026

Sword Ascendant is designed to collect as little data as possible. There is no account and no sign-up: your game progress lives in your personal iCloud, purchases are handled entirely by Apple, and in-game telemetry never leaves your device. This policy explains what the game and this website do and do not collect, and it is written to be readable, not just compliant.

1. Who we are

Sword Ascendant and this website are operated by Tongchuan Neijuli Network Technology Company Limited (“we”, “us”). In this policy, “the game” means the Sword Ascendant iOS application.

2. Game progress lives in your iCloud

Your progress, unlocks and preferences are saved to Apple iCloud through CloudKit’s private database. That data belongs to your personal iCloud account: we cannot read it, export it, sell it, or combine it with advertising data. If iCloud is unavailable, the game keeps a local copy on your device and syncs when a connection returns.

3. Purchases

Any purchase offered in the game (such as the optional VIP purchase) is processed by Apple through StoreKit. We never see your name, payment card, or billing address. We only read the anonymous entitlement that Apple returns to the game so it can enable what you bought. Refunds and purchase problems are handled through Apple’s Report a Problem page.

4. Advertising

The game shows optional rewarded advertisements through Google AdMob. Watching an ad is always your choice: ads are never shown without your action, and declining an ad never costs you progress. When ads are requested, Google and its partners may process device identifiers, approximate location derived from an IP address, and ad interaction data to serve and measure advertising, as described in Google’s advertising privacy policy.

5. Analytics and diagnostics

In-game telemetry (run results, performance counters and similar events) is stored locally on your device and is not uploaded to us or to any third party. The game does not send crash reports to us directly; any crash data collected by Apple on your device reaches developers only in anonymized form through App Store Connect.

6. Your choices about ads

In regions where consent is required (for example the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), the game shows a consent message powered by Google’s User Messaging Platform before it requests ads. You can accept or decline personalized advertising, and you can change your choice at any time in the game’s privacy options. You can also limit ad personalization through Google’s Ads Settings or your device’s advertising settings.

7. Children

Sword Ascendant is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

8. Data retention and deletion

Because your data lives in your iCloud account, deleting it is under your control: delete the app, or open iOS Settings, tap your name, then iCloud, then Manage Account Storage, and remove Sword Ascendant’s stored data. We hold no server copy to delete. If you email us, we keep your message only as long as needed to help you.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, the United Kingdom, or California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to personalized advertising. Since we hold no personal data on our own servers, most requests are handled by the settings described above. For anything else, email us at the address below.

10. Other services’ policies

Google (AdMob): policies.google.com/technologies/ads. Apple (iCloud, App Store, payments): apple.com/legal/privacy.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the game or its services change. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the current version.
